Description
ALPINESTARS Youth SM3 Falcon Helmet (2027) — RED FLUO/WHITE/BLUE/YELLOW FLUO
Features
- This lightweight helmet features a thermo-injected shell incorporating a special polymer blend enhanced by varying degrees of thickness that is engineered to deliver the optimal combination of impact protection and light weight.
- The SM3 Youth weighs 1060g (ECE) and 1170g (DOT).
- Separate versions of the shells for DOT and ECE requirements; the DOT certified version of the helmet’s inner shell is constructed with a composite fiber assembled between the outer shell and the EPS liner for maximum protection against impacts.
- The Youth Small (YS) has a smaller EPS size and can be customized only via the cheek pads.
- Alpinestars extensive research has shown that the kids that wear a YS size are very small, typically 3 to 4 years old, and therefore they require a dedicated helmet fit.
